Every nation needs its storytellers: This Tribe is for the storytellers, the keepers of history (both real or imagined) of our Leather Nation. This is a place for queer and/or perverted Lovers of Language and Words, of Reading and Writing, to share their Ideas and love of literature with each other.
It's hoped that this Tribe will act as a forum for readers and writers of kinky literature, presenting an opportunity to compare notes on new and established writers in the genre, discuss the power and purpose of erotic writing, share information about publishing venues (i.e., Calls for Submissions and where to find them), promote Tribe member's writing and publication, and mentor new writers.
The input of readers and their support is vital for any author. Writers learn from their readers as much as they do from other writers. While all our voices and opinions should be heard and shared, let us all agree to walk that very wide road between a Mutual Pat on the Back Society and a Bitch Fest. Support is good, but so is honest feedback.
An Incomplete List, in No Particular Order, of Queer/Perv Writers to Read: David Stein, John Preston, Ian Philips, Kirk Read, Aaron Travis/Steven Saylor, Patrick Califia, Caro Soles, Scott O'Hara, Michael Lowenthal, Michael Bronski, Douglas Sadonick, James Purdy, Edmund White, Daniel Jaffe, M.
