There is a another prize for the top 10 users with the highest referred user count. I will add your profile to the "featured" area on the home page for September and October.
The way you increase your referred user count is to use the "invite" feature to invite your friends from facebook, gmail or other sources. When a friend that you've invited joins, your referred user count goes up by one. You can also paste your "referral link" in an email, twitter post or facebook status and when someone clicks through to it and joins, your referred user count will go up. I've reset everyone's referred user count to zero so everyone is starting at the same place.
